1/8 -1/2 tsp. turmeric
½ cup water
1 cup almond, rice or coconut milk unsweetened
1-2 Tbsp. almond or coconut oil
honey or agave to taste
Boil water and turmeric in a small saucepan over medium-high heat for 8 minutes. Fully cook the turmeric to release the essence of the herb and support maximum absorption. Combine the milk and oil in a separate pan and bring to boiling. Remove from heat. Combine the two mixtures and add sweetener to taste.
Try making more a few batches at a time and keep it in the fridge. Once the Turmeric Paste is made, you can heat up the milk and oil with a teaspoon of turmeric paste. Can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg to top it off!
