Meet Karen Korona

Karen Korona, M.S., has been a Holistic Health Practitioner and Spiritual Teacher in Littleton, Colorado, for 40 years. Based in the Denver Metro area, Karen works nationally and internationally, providing healing and counseling to individuals and families and leading classes, workshops, and retreats. 

 Karen has assisted thousands of people on their healing journey with her Holistic Transformational program. She offers in-person and remote healing treatments, Craniosacral Therapy, Ayurveda and nutritional education, meditation, Kundalini yoga workshops, and international retreats. Her program guides people on a path to optimal health, well-being, and heightened awareness. She is currently writing a book on Kundalini techniques for transformation and anti-aging. 

Karen has been a guest speaker/instructor in over 50 yoga studios, healing centers, meditation groups, and churches throughout the U.S. She has been a guest on radio programs in Denver, Telluride, and Kauai and was the co-host of the Awakening Healing radio talk show on KTNI 101.5 FM Denver. Karen has trained with physicians in the United States, including Dr. John Upledger and Dr. Nick Nossaman. She has studied with master teachers, gurus, and shamans from various cultures in healing and spiritual practices, Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic medicine. Her teachers include Dr. Vasant Lad BAM&S, MASC; Sri Shambhavananda, [Hinduism from the lineage of Bhagavan Nityananda,  Baba Muktananda and Swami Rudrananda]; Master Mantak Chia, [Taoism]; Mas Primo and Rukmawati Hartono [kejawen, ancient Janavese philosophy and cosmology];  Brook Medicine Eagle [native American religions]; Father Gnanananda, [Hinduism];  and Bishop Robert Love [the Eastern Catholic Church of Antioch]. She has also had the privilege of training with hidden shamans on the mountaintops of the Andes, Mayan Elders, shamans in the jungles of Mexico, and sages that have no name.

Karen is the former owner of the Violet Korona Center, a Holistic Health and Yoga Center in Denver, Colorado. Ten years ago, she created Kundance Yoga, an original art which combines Kundalini yoga, healing, and conscious dance. She is an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church and an ordained priestess in the Church of Antioch in the Order of Sanctuary, where she provided weekly services in spirituality and mysticism for a congregation of 200 members in Littleton, Colorado, in the 1980s. Karen has a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Bradley University and had a private practice specializing in neurological disorders prior to becoming a Holistic Health Practitioner.
