Apple Sauce with Ginger and Ghee




1 cup Apple

1/3 cup of water

1 tsp Ghee

1/4 tsp Ginger (Dried)

1 Tbsp Raw Sugar



  1. (If using store bought apple sauce, skip to step 2.) Peel, core and thinly slice apples. Combine apples in saucepan with 1/3 c. water and simmer until apples are tender, stirring frequently. Add raw sugar.
  2. Mix and bring ghee, ginger, and apple sauce to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.
